Operate or Wait After A Single Episode of Complicated Diverticulitis?

This month’s debate is the fourth in our series of surgeon-on-surgeon duels. So far, I have heard nothing but positive feedback from you, the readers, about our new series. I surely hope this is correct, because our debaters have put everything on the line. For this issue, I have decided to move down the gastrointestinal tract, away from the foregut debates, and give our colorectal surgeons a chance at the joust. Hopefully our debaters won’t get their hands too dirty in this
