Fluorescence-Guided Lumpectomy Merits Further Study, Researchers Say

The use of pegulicianine fluorescence-guided surgery (pFGS) for identifying residual cancer in the tumor bed of patients undergoing breast-conserving surgery has an excellent safety profile and merits additional study, according to new research.
