Less May Be More When It Comes to Air Filtration in the OR

Results of a quality improvement study suggest that the use of portable HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filter towers in the OR could introduce an unintended disruption to air flow and adversely affect the movement of airborne particulate matter.
