National Data Point to Need To Consider CRC in Younger Patients

The number of cases of colorectal cancer (CRC) among people younger than 50 years is rising dramatically, even as it falls among older Americans, new figures show.

A new analysis of the National Cancer Data Base (NCDB) presented at the 2016 Digestive Disease Week (abstract Tu1812) found an 11.4% increase in the number of young-onset CRC cases between 2004 and 2013.
