The number of cases of colorectal cancer (CRC) among people younger than 50 years is rising dramatically, even as it falls among older Americans, new figures show.
A new analysis of the National Cancer Data Base (NCDB) presented at the 2016 Digestive Disease Week (abstract Tu1812) found an 11.4% increase in the number of young-onset CRC cases between 2004 and 2013. The number of cases among older people fell by 2.5% during the same period. The findings match earlier reports of an
