Liver Cancer Deaths Trending Upward

Death rates from liver cancer have increased steadily from 2000 to 2016 among adults aged 25 years and older, bucking a trend of decreasing overall cancer death rates since the 1990s, according to new reports from the CDC. Liver cancer, which was the ninth-leading cause of cancer death in 2000, became the sixth-leading cause in 2016.
